Project Overview

WebtoonLike is a platform where webtoon artists can smoothly conduct secondary copyright transactions by registering their intellectual property (IP). Artists can register the IP of their created webtoons, make them available to various buyers, and buyers can review the registered IPs and make offers for transactions. This provides webtoon artists with easier opportunities to trade secondary copyrights and offers buyers a system to discover interesting IPs for diverse content utilization.

Through this project, my goal is to ensure that users can intuitively perceive all functions based on a consistent UI within the service, use them smoothly, and perform all tasks without any hindrance.

User interviews were conducted to identify the needs of Anima development.

Design Elements

The UI design of WebtoonLike chose red as the key color to emphasize consistency and connectivity with the existing company, enhancing the brand identity. To cater to international users, the versatile Noto Sans font was used, and a card design was implemented to effectively showcase thumbnails of various works. Additionally, the offer creation page was structured in a style similar to an invoice to make buyers feel familiar, and a layout that allows easy utilization of various filters and functions on a single screen was applied to maximize user experience.

The top banner of WebtoonLike displays works with approaching deadlines to encourage more clicks. At the bottom, there are various sections such as popular works, new releases, genre collections, recommended authors, etc., allowing users to easily find and receive recommendations for the type of IP they desire.

Register Project

At WebtoonLike, copyright holders can upload their works to the trading market by providing a brief introduction of the work, registering episodes, and current contract status. This allows copyright holders to easily engage in IP transactions, while buyers can make offers based on this information.

Make a Deal

Buyers who are members of WebtoonLike can verify their registered IP and create offers. Copyright holders can review received offers and then accept, reject, or request modifications, and after final acceptance, a memorandum of agreement will be issued. This transparent transaction process enables smooth communication between copyright holders and buyers.
