Project Overview

Hypetale is an innovative platform that utilizes AI to create and share web novel IPs. Writers can efficiently work on story creation and writing from brainstorming to completion through the creative support features provided by AI. They can register their created web novel IPs on the platform to share them with various readers and buyers. Hypetale supports web novel writers by reducing the burden of creation, enabling them to realize more ideas, and providing a platform for sharing and trading to maximize the value of their creations.

I focused on designing the AI-based web novel creation process to be intuitive and concise for this project. I seamlessly integrated AI support features to allow writers to immerse themselves in creation without technical barriers and optimized the user experience for easy exploration and offering of IPs by buyers through the IP registration and trading system.

User interviews were conducted to identify the needs of Anima development.

Design Elements

Hypetale's UI design emphasized consistency and connectivity with the original company by using blue and purple gradients as key colors. Targeting a domestic platform, fonts Pretendard and KoPub were selected to provide users with the optimal reading experience, considering readability as crucial. The overall design features a comprehensive layout utilizing both dashboards and list elements, allowing users to intuitively utilize web novel creation and IP management functions.

Home & Project Detail

Hypetale provides functions such as AI recommendations, recently viewed works, real-time rankings, etc., allowing users to easily find and receive recommendations for the type of IP they want. When selecting a specific IP to view, the like and comment functions for the work are activated to encourage communication among users, allowing authors to receive feedback to incorporate into the creative process.

Register & Generate New Project

Hypetale has placed a writing button on the home screen to lower the threshold of creation. When users enter the writing menu, they can solidify the world of their work by starting with entering work information, character details, and episode-specific stories. After entering episode-specific stories, users can utilize AI technology to generate and register a cover for their work when making the first post, making it easy for users to create unique IPs.

User Profile

Hypetale provides a feature for writers to easily check their works in the user profile. Additionally, in the "Recently Viewed Works" tab, users can quickly see the works they have recently viewed, as well as their coin usage history and comment history on the same page, supporting users in managing their activities easily.
